I was a pre-school teacher for 16 years, but could not continue to teach because of my health related issues. Currently, my life consists of going to church, walking my dog “Lucky†and going to dialysis. I really enjoy helping the people in my community and being a part of the growth of it. After I receive my transplant, I mostly look forward to living a regular life again, and helping others facing the same battles that I now face.
I am in the process of getting on the transplant list, but to start the process and get listed, I need to raise $3550. Ultimately, I will need $7000 total to get the transplant. I am on a fixed income, and am asking for your help in raising funds so I can get my kidney transplant and become an active member of the community again.
To help with this financial burden, a fundraising campaign in my honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the South-Atlantic Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider making a contribution today.
Thank you so much for listening, and may God continue to bless you and your family.
Sincerely,
Jannie Harley

We can do this Jannie! While I love our weekly rides from dialysis with great conversation, I hate that you are going through this. Hugs!
