Marcus Brown is a 37 yr old man who suffered a life changing injury during a horrific car accident. The impact of the accident damaged his spinal cord leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. At the time of the accident he was considered a complete injury but as time has went on and with extensive physical therapy, he has partial feelings down to his ankles.
Marcus lives in Norman, Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2012. He wishes to obtain bionic C-braces which will enable him to walk with assistance. The devices are not covered by insurance.
Marcus has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live provides both tax-deductibility to the full extent of the law and fiscal accountability to his contributors. Contributors can be sure that funds contributed will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses.
