I would like to open by saying thank you all for the generous donations previously made on my behalf. Through your assistance, we have raised 12k. This can be verified on my web page. The funds are secured with the non-profit and will be used for medically related expenses only.
At this time, I am not requesting additional donations, rather, just seeking to provide an update of my current medical status. As a United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) listed patient, I began treating at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY as it was closer to my hometown of Buffalo, NY.
My condition worsened last year and I was forced to undergo emergency surgery. I had LVAD (Left Ventricle Assist Device with BTT) Implantation which is a pump created to help my overall heart function. The BTT stands for Bridge To Transplant. As you may recall, I already have a defibrillator and pacemaker. These devices have all been implanted to sustain my life. Times are difficult right now but I remain hopeful.
As stated earlier, I wanted to provide an update on my health status and let each of you know that I am fully committed to completing this mission.
In the future, I will update you more regularly. Staying alive is a very tough job; however, I am thankful for the tremendous support from all of you and my health care professionals who have worked diligently to assist me.
Moving forward, my medical team is in the process of preparing me for future surgery and eliminating any other medical problems that exist or may arise. I truly appreciate your assistance through this very challenging process. Please know that I am doing my absolute best to be ready for “the call”. I have been 100% compliant with my doctor’s orders.
I suppose that I’ll always need some measure of medical treatment; however, it is my hope and belief that transplant will resolve a large portion of my issues.
Thank you so much. My family and I are truly grateful to have each of you as a part of this process.
Please contact myself or the parties listed below with any questions, comments or concerns.
Thanks,
Warren

We have started the first part of 2016 with two visits to Cleveland. My doctors continue to measure how I am doing and the process continues. Waiting has been the hardest part of all of this, but I continue to B+ (be positive) and do whatever it takes to make the best of this journey. Your thoughts and prayers continue to keep me uplifted!!
Two trips since June to Cleveland Clinic. I'm hanging in and praying everyday for a donor. Another Thanksgiving has past and I am thankful for having such wonderful family and friends who support me. Love to you all. I'll keep you in my prayers and you keep me and my family in yours.
Jay
6/3/15 - We are #6 on the transplant list for B+ blood type. May visit to Cleveland Clinic went well. All tests indicate that the medications are keeping me stable and I am able to remain at home.Next visit to Cleveland in August. Thank you for all of your prayers and support as I continue to fight the fight!!
Another trip to Cleveland on 2/12/15. Lab work and a visit with my Cardiologist. Still waiting with no timeframe as to when all of this will happen. Could be next week, could be next year. But I am hopeful, loved, and blessed. Next visit to Cleveland in May!
Hello Friends, Family and Community,
Warren and I have just returned from another visit to Cleveland Clinic. We had several appointments and have now been told that our visits will increase from every 7 weeks to once a month. On a very happy note, since we started our campaign with HelpHopeLive, Warren has been actively listed on the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) national wait list. We are hopeful that a donor heart will be available soon.
We thank all of you for your contributions and kind words of encouragement and will keep you updated as we continue on this journey.
My best to you and yours,
Lisa Lowe
Still hoping and praying! ♥️
