As many of you know my daughter Emma, 24, has been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. She has battled the disease courageously and for many years was able to lead a fairly normal life. However, last year her lung function decreased tremendously due to years of lung infections and scar tissue. Now, she relies on oxygen 24/7 and misses being active and a part of everyday life.

At this point, Emma’s doctors at Mass General have told us that her only chance of survival and long term health is a double lung transplant. Emma needs the help of her family and friends to make this happen.
