Hello, hope everyone is having a blessed day.

My name is Aaron Daniel I’m a 50 year old paraplegic due to gunshot wound when I was 16. So it’s safe to say I’ve been in a chair pretty much my whole life.

I heard of Help Hope Live, they are a non profit which helps me to raise funds for anything medical related expenses. I reached out and told them I’m in desperate need of getting my independence back. I’ve got an accessible Van but it’s an older model and needs a lot of work, a new lift alone would be around $10,000 so I see no need in putting that kind of money into a worn out van.

I’m seeking and looking for some kindness and some generosity to regain my independence. Any donations made are eligible for a tax deduction.

I currently have to rely on someone to get to Doctors appointments and daily needs. I never have the chance to just get out on my own and just have the freedom of independence.

So I’m seeking the kindness of strangers to please help me to get my freedom and independence back. Any donation is welcome.

I’m not looking to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars I’m just trying raise enough to get a used accessible van. A brand new accessible van is very expensive expensive like $60-70000 dollars or more, but a used accessible van may be available for half that amount.

I’m on SSDI so I can’t afford nothing that costs that amount. I’m just trying to raise enough to get a reliable van that will help me make my medical appointments and give me some independence. Insurance and SSDI does not cover accessible vans.

I’m trying to raise enough to get an affordable one that runs about $20 to $30,000 dollars. That is still a lot to raise but this van will probably last me the rest of my life.
