Ayin Qynn

Ayin (they/them) is a passionate, driven, highly empathetic young adult. A bookworm from a young age, Ayin enjoys both reading and writing everything from fantasy to spoken word poetry. They revel in using their powerful voice to lead communities in song, to speak up for marginalized voices, to write their truth, and to sing their heart out! They love to volunteer with Golden Opportunities for Independence (GOFI), The Queer Neighborhood Council (TQNC), and local synagogues.

Ayin lives with multiple complex chronic illnesses that limit their mobility and cause a wide variety of symptoms. As a part-time wheelchair user, Ayin requires various kinds of support to navigate their life and build greater independence.

We are raising funds to cover medical expenses that are not covered by insurance. One of these is the cost of training Ayin’s service dog Charlie who plays a vital role in making every day of Ayin’s life safer, more accessible, and more meaningful. Whether she is actively providing a helping hand, passively monitoring their body for changes that could be harmful, or simply existing beside them as a calming, joyful presence, she is the highlight of every day. With Charlie’s support and skilled medical assistance, Ayin can safely access places and experiences that were once out of reach — from grocery stores and medical appointments to community events and time with loved ones. In addition to safety and stability, Charlie brings joy and smiles everywhere they go!

Ayin is immensely grateful for all of the support they have received so far – from ideas to inclusion, advocacy to accessibility, fundraising to friendship.
