In the beginning of 2025, I started having medical problems that steadily got worse. In February of 2025, I had a spinal stroke. At the time no one knew what it was and I was told it was stress. I was then told to go home. In July of that year, my legs started going numb. I went to a different doctor and after testing they found a rare condition called an AVM. I had a rare form of the AVM.

To correct it, I would have to have back surgery on September 19th, 2025. When I woke up from surgery that was when we realized that I was paralyzed from the waist down. I have a incomplete spinal cord Injury from T4-T6. We also found out that I had another spinal stroke. I am paraplegic and I live in a wheelchair. We don’t know if I will be able to walk again. I to have live with chronic pain in my right shoulder blade and on my right side. I need medical equipment that insurance will not pay for. I will also need an accessible van to get to my physical therapy appointments. Please consider helping us.
