Brent Cromwell

Brent is a funny, outdoor loving, giving person! He’s a husband, amazing stepdad, best friend, son, brother and more! He’d lend a hand to anyone who needs it and is needing some help himself right now with his outpatient therapy now that he is home. On March 14th, 2026 Brent had a serious dirt bike accident and was airlifted to a hospital that offered a trauma unit as he could not feel his legs at the time the accident happened. After having an MRI, it showed all the injuries he sustained were in his neck starting from his C1 down to his C7 with fractures in his C5-C7. He underwent surgery to place rods and screws where the fractures are. While he has made amazing improvements since the accident, we still have a long road to recovery ahead of us.

If you know Brent, you know he can have you laughing in about 5 minutes of being around him. Whether he’s making you laugh or just laughing at himself (a quality I admire so much about him) he will have a smile on your face in no time. Although he can be introverted at times, he is so easy to talk to and really does care about people. Mountain biking is his passion, and he loves being outdoors, especially with Sasha our woods exploring loving dog!

Brent’s accident left him currently experiencing paralysis from his shoulders down. He has made great improvements since the accident though and does have good movement in his lower extremities and is able to move his legs and feet. Upper extremities are taking longer to come around but there is movement in his hands and in his arms for sure. He has made so much improvement and now that he is home and will be doing outpatient therapy, we want to keep all that momentum going! Revive Neurorecovery Center is an amazing outpatient facility in Fort Mill that can really help Brent with the road to continuing to recover. Only thing is they are fully self-pay only and with being a 1 income household its tough, but when it comes to his recovery and what the trajectory of his life may look like I know this is the place he needs to go!
