Christopher H Markt

Chris Markt is a husband, father, and former business executive whose life has been profoundly changed by a complex, debilitating neurological and connective tissue illness, including Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and related complications.

After more than a decade of worsening health and six years unable to work, Chris and his family have finally made meaningful progress in understanding his condition and identifying potential paths toward recovery.

The next chapter will require extensive specialized medical care, including consultations, procedures, surgeries, rehabilitation, and travel to physicians experienced in these rare and complicated conditions. Many of these expenses are not covered by insurance.

Chris’s family is raising funds to help him access this care and pursue the possibility of a healthier, more independent life. Above all, Chris hopes to regain more of the life he once shared with his wife Lauren and their young son Finn.

Contributions are managed by Help Hope Live, a trusted medical fundraising nonprofit, and are restricted to eligible medical and related expenses.
