Corey A. Thenell
Phoenix, AZ
Family and friends of Corey Thenell are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a transplant. Corey has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.
Corey faces a critical need for a double lung transplant. Doctors have said this needs to happen very soon. He’s currently going through a “work up” process needed to approve the transplant, and getting out of the hospital bed and moving around is an important factor in being approved for the transplant too. The medical team is working closely with him to achieve this in the next few days and weeks.
Prior to being admitted into the hospital, Corey was on oxygen 24/7 which left him very isolated and unable to work or perform regular daily activities. Day to day, his world became much smaller while he waited for the care that could change everything. Watching him live with these limitations while knowing how urgently he needs this transplant is heartbreaking.
Donations will help cover the very real costs ahead, including medical expenses, pre-op care, post-op care, and lost wages. This support would ease some of the financial pressure he faces while focusing on getting approved, preparing for surgery, and recovering afterward.
If you are able to give, please know that any amount will help. If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean so much. Thank you for standing with Corey and his family during this critical time.
Make a tax-deductible donation to support this campaign.
