Help Craig Bernard Drayton Sr. Receive a Life-Saving Lung Transplant

My name is Craig Bernard Drayton Sr. I am 59 years old, a devoted husband, father, and proud grandfather. Today, I am asking for your help as I face the biggest challenge of my life.

In 2020, I nearly lost my life to COVID-19. I spent a month in the hospital fighting to survive, followed by two weeks in a rehabilitation facility. When I was finally able to return home, I was dependent on oxygen—and I still am today.

Unfortunately, the damage COVID caused to my lungs has been severe. My doctors have determined that I now need a lung transplant to give me the chance to continue living and spending precious time with my family.

The transplant will be performed at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, South Carolina. While I am grateful to have access to this life-saving care, there are many expenses involved that insurance does not fully cover, including travel, lodging, medications, and other transplant-related costs.

My goal is to raise $15,000 to help ease these financial burdens so I can focus on my health and recovery.
