Welcome to Cindy’s journey!

As some of you are aware, my mom, was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis a few years ago. She was the hardest worker, physically active, loved spending time with her grandkids, attending their activities, traveling, and hanging out with her girlfriends. This disease has put a full stop to everything she used to enjoy. She is now on oxygen 24 hours a day.

Unfortunately, this summer she was given the news that she would need a lung transplant to beat this disease.

We visited the Barnes-Jewish hospital in St. Louis mid October, and she passed her testing with flying colors! We are optimistic she will get on the transplant list, early 2027.

Along with multiple visits pre-transplant, they will need to relocate to St. Louis for 3 months, post transplant surgery. The funds we raise will help cover medical and travel expenses.
