Damian Ganger lives with severe physical disabilities and requires full-time assistance for daily needs. Reliable transportation is the missing link in his life right now—without it, he struggles to get to medical appointments, participate in his community, and meet new friends.

Damian is so much more than his diagnosis. He lights up around family and neighbors, loves being included in community events, and is known for his warm smile and quick wit. He wants to be out in the world—sharing a coffee, visiting the park, saying hello to new faces—not watching life pass by from home.

Transportation is Damian’s biggest barrier. Rides fall through. Paratransit can be unreliable and time-limited. Weather and long waits make travel risky and exhausting. Missed appointments affect his health, and limited outings mean fewer chances to connect with others.

Damian is fundraising for a wheelchair-accessible van with the modifications for his specific needs:

Safe side-entry ramp or lift, lowered floor, and securement system

Climate control and space for a caregiver to assist.

This van will change Damian’s life. It will mean dependable rides to doctors and therapy, spontaneous trips to the library or park, visits with friends, community groups, faith services, and adaptive activities. Most of all, it offers dignity, safety, and the freedom to say “yes” to connection.
