David Seymore

David Seymore, 76, of Merkel, Texas, is in end-stage heart failure and needs help now.

He is currently on continuous IV medication that goes directly to his heart.  This is the only thing keeping him alive currently, but it is not a long-term solution.

Due to his age, David is not eligible for a heart transplant. His only option is an LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device, a mechanical heart pump). This should extend his life. However, getting there requires ongoing treatment and extended stays in Dallas for surgery and recovery.
