On December 18, 2021, my life changed in an instant.

I was the passenger in a catastrophic car accident that nearly took my life. I survived three cardiac arrests, months in the hospital, more than 20 surgeries, the loss of my left leg, and devastating injuries throughout my body.

But I survived.

The accident wasn’t the end of my story. In many ways, it was the beginning of an entirely new one.

Today, I continue to face the long-term consequences of those injuries. My recovery includes ongoing medical care, surgeries and procedures, rehabilitation, prosthetic care and equipment, mobility needs, and other expenses that insurance does not fully cover.

My goal isn’t simply to survive. I want to keep rebuilding my independence and my life. I want to walk farther, become stronger, travel, serve others, share my testimony, and use the life I fought so hard to keep.

That’s why my family and friends are raising funds through the nonprofit Help Hope Live. Contributions help with eligible medical and recovery-related expenses, and donations made through Help Hope Live are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
