Dylan Brown

Family and friends of Dylan Brown are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a transplant. Dylan has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Over a year ago, our lives changed forever when Dylan was diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease. What followed was one of the most challenging seasons we’ve ever faced. Countless doctor’s appointments, treatments, lifestyle changes, and nearly a year of home dialysis became our new normal. Through every setback and every difficult day, Dylan has shown incredible strength, resilience, and unwavering faith.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude as we prepare for the next chapter of this journey.

Because of the extraordinary generosity of a living donor who stepped forward and turned out to be a perfect match, Dylan has been given the incredible gift of a second chance at life. There truly are no words to express what this selfless act means to us. One person’s willingness to say “yes” has forever changed our future. Her compassion, courage, and generosity are nothing short of miraculous, and we will carry that gift with us for the rest of our lives.

While we are incredibly excited for transplant day, we know this isn’t the finish line, it’s the beginning of a new journey. Recovery from a kidney transplant takes time, patience, and ongoing medical care. There will be frequent follow-up appointments, medications, lifestyle adjustments, and a long road of healing ahead. We know there will be challenges, but we also know that this transplant offers something we have been praying for since the day Dylan was diagnosed, hope.

Throughout this entire journey, we have been carried by the love, prayers, encouragement, and generosity of our family, friends, and community. Every message, every prayer, every meal, every donation, and every act of kindness has reminded us that we are not walking this road alone. Your support has given us strength on the hardest days, and we are so thankful.
