Emma Grace Tang

Family and friends of Emma Tang are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a catastrophic illness. Emma has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.

Emma Tang is one of the strongest people you’ll ever hear about. A nurse, a mother, and a wife, she has spent her career caring for others in their hardest moments. A couple months ago, life handed her one of her own.

Just weeks before welcoming her second daughter, Iris, into the world, Emma was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. The timing was unimaginable. She was preparing for new life while facing a fight she never expected. And yet, she showed up for both. She carried her pregnancy, she welcomed Iris, and she stepped into treatment without losing her warmth or her spirit.

Now Emma is focused on healing, on being present for her girls, and on getting back to the life she loves. Treatment for sarcoma is intensive and the road ahead is long, but Emma is not walking it alone. Her family and friends are with her every step of the way, and that’s exactly why we set up this campaign. The financial weight of cancer treatment is real, and we want Emma to be able to focus entirely on getting better, not on the bills.
