On December 24, 2022, our family’s life changed in an instant. A devastating car wreck left our 10-year-old son paralyzed. Today, Evan is a trach patient who relies on life-sustaining medical equipment and round-the-clock care.

Every day, we fight to give him the best chance at health, healing, and hope. But getting him to the vital medical appointments and therapy sessions that keep him healthy and progressing has become a heartbreaking challenge.

Without a wheelchair-accessible van, something as simple as getting to the doctor or therapist can feel nearly impossible. Transporting his wheelchair and essential medical equipment safely and comfortably is a constant struggle.

That’s why we are raising funds through Help Hope Live to purchase a wheelchair-accessible van.

This van isn’t a luxury—it’s a lifeline.

It will give our son the ability to leave our home safely, receive the medical care and therapies he needs, and experience a world beyond the walls of his room. It will give our family greater freedom and, most importantly, help our son keep moving forward.
