Abby Baxter

My daughter Abby has kidney disease that has progressed enough that she now needs to start weekly dialysis treatments. She is 2 years old. Abby needs a kidney transplant and she needs your help.

Abby is always happy and has an infectious laugh. Her big sister Emma says she is a good little sister.

Family and friends of Abby Baxter are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live (in Abby’s honor) to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation. While insurance covers the cost of the transplant, there are other expenses that will need to be covered, including travel, medications pre- and post and a caregiver for before and after.

As a single parent Jennifer has a lot to handle, not only with Abby’s upcoming transplant, but her older daughter Emma also had a transplant three years prior and still requires anti-rejection medication and care.

Abby’s family has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors.
