Aleigha Skanes

Hi my name is Melinda Thrash. My youngest daughter Aleigha Skanes has Scleroderma, A very aggressive auto immune disease that has targeted her lungs, which has only worsen due to her giving birth to her son at just 31 weeks. The baby is currently at Scared heart Hospital in Pensacola FL. We are waiting on him to gain more weight and be able to eat from the bottle and not through tube. As far as my daughter condition, Aleigha is on Ecmo machine and life support. She is waiting for new lungs she is a great mother of 2 children we are asking for donation to help with medical and travel and stay. We also ask for prayers…. She had to be transfer to a different hospital in Gainesville and leave the baby in NICU In Pensacola. Anything donated will be greatly appreciated. Family and friends of Aleigha Skanes are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
