Alesha S Hill

Alesha has been struggling with Lupus since 2002. She was doing well on medications until in 2005 doctor saw that her kidneys were failing and decided to put her on Cytoxan which is a chemotherapy drug. For over a year and a half she dealt with the complications of chemo. The chemo helped for a little while. Until 2010 when she had to be rushed to the hospital for a severe throat infection, that caused her airway to swell shut. She was put in an indused coma for over 2 weeks. When the doctors woke her she had been put on dialysis. She went through Hemo dialysis for sometime when her doctor said she could go to peritoneal dialysis done at home. This would lead to her having to have liters of fluid removed from her lung. At this time the doctors were seeing her kidney numbers improving. At the end of 2011 she had her PD catheter removed. Her kidneys had made a miraculous recovery. Leading to present day. Alesha’s kidneys are on the decline yet again. She is in need of a kidney transplant. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
