As they say, God works in mysterious ways.

At 23, my ambitious, focused, and aggressive drive has been jolted or at least put on hold. This past Presidents Day, I had a catastrophic ski accident. As a result, I pinched my spinal cord, among an ugly list of breaks, punctures, and other multiple wounds requiring several reconstructive surgeries.

I am “currently” paralyzed, with no feeling from chest to toe and the medical team says walking again will take a miracle. (I don’t buy it!!)

I love skiing, golf, playing in league soccer with my friends, and working with my students!! Every morning, I prepare my “best buddy” (Noah) for school, as he was born with many challenges due to CMV. I work as a pre-school physical education coach for Jump-Bunch. I also intern at NYC Bellevue Hospital in their Adolescent Psychiatric Division. My aspiration is to become a clinical psychologist to assist young children and adolescents with emotional challenges such as depression, anxiety, and addiction. My plight has been temporarily derailed due to my accident.
