Alfredo desperately needs your help.

Alfredo’s long battle with kidney disease has reached a critical point. He is now in kidney failure and needs a transplant to survive. We’re asking family and friends to join us in fundraising for the non-profit Help Hope Live to help with critical expenses Alfredo will face before and immediately after surgery.

Alfredo has always been an outgoing, funny, and kind person. He always wants to make people laugh and has never let his diagnosis stop him from being himself and doing the things that he wants to do like playing soccer, chasing his nieces and nephews around the house, or traveling, but now his kidneys are only functioning at 12%, and he needs our help.

While Alfredo has health insurance, many transplant expenses are not covered, such as hospital stay costs, in-home care, and certain anti-rejection medications he would need to take for the life of his new kidney. Not to mention, the co-pays for weekly doctor’s visits during a long recovery and a hefty deductible. Alfredo will also be covering the expenses related to his potential living donor’s evaluation and surgery.

Donations to Help Hope Live can significantly help ease the financial burden of a kidney transplant on our family and would allow both Alfredo and his potential living donor to focus on a healthy recovery.
