Help Me Heal: Support for Urgent Medical Surgeries and Financial Relief

My name is Abdullah, 66 years old, and I am humbly reaching out for help in the most difficult and vulnerable time of my life. I am a senior citizen facing a cascade of serious health challenges that have significantly impacted my ability to live independently, manage my daily activities, and keep up with overwhelming medical and financial burdens.

Over the past few years, my body has endured unimaginable strain. In 2021, I underwent open-heart bypass surgery after having eight stents placed in my arteries. I have chronic diabetes, severe arthritis throughout my spine and joints, and have recently undergone inguinal hernia surgery, which may still require corrective surgery.

My health continues to deteriorate with new diagnoses and mounting needs, including neurological disorders, memory isshues, and symptoms indicating autoimmune disease.

I am urgently in need of several surgeries including:

•A pacemaker replacement due by April 2025

•Spinal fusion and correction surgery for severe lumbar degeneration (L4-L5 spondylolisthesis), and L5-S1 disease.

•Cervical spine surgery (laminoplasty) for extreme nerve compression stenosis causing constant numbness and tremors

•Septoplasty for chronic breathing issues

•Cataract and retina treatments to restore and preserve my vision

•Progressive arthritis and osteoporosis throughout my body.

These health issues not only cause immense physical pain but also make it extremely difficult to manage simple tasks and daily needs.

Financially, I am drowning. I rely solely on SSI income of $1,200/month, which barely covers my basic living expenses. My credit card debt has reached over $23,000 with staggering 36% APR interest rates, and I have an auto loan balance of over $11,000. Every month is a struggle filled with fear and anxiety over how I will pay for medications, transportation to medical appointments, and critical treatments.
