Alicia Schweickert

Alicia loves to spend time with family and friends . She’s always smiling and ready to joke at anytime. She loves comedy and tries to be quite the comedian. Starting dialysis she recently struggled with sleep, eating and muscle cramps. She used to love going out to eat with friend’s. Now she is not able to, due to her diet and has to cook things at home. Her social life has became short of nothing and she used to be the social butterfly.

Alicia a survivor of a lifelong battle with severe heart disease, having undergone multiple open-heart surgeries as a child and later receiving the gift of a heart and liver transplant. While I am deeply grateful for the second chance at life, my journey is not over. I am now facing the possibility of needing a kidney transplant, which brings new challenges and uncertainty. Along with the physical and emotional toll, the financial burden of frequent travel, medical care, and lodging near transplant centers has become overwhelming. I am asking for support to help ease these costs so I can continue fighting, healing, and moving forward in faith and hope. Every contribution, prayer, and share
