Amanda Anderson

Hi my name is Amanda Anderson and I am trying to raise the funds needed to help with the enormous expenses of a lung transplant. I am 45 years old, and I have been battling Interstitial Lung Disease for 8 years now; however 5 years ago I had COVID-19, and it made my lung disease worse. I have been on oxygen for 5 years, unfortunately my lungs will never get better. The time has come for me to receive a donor lung transplant.

I do have insurance, unfortunately it does not cover all the expenses. That’s why I must fundraise.

I am a mother of 3 children, and a grandmother of a beautiful grandson. I enjoy every moment I get to spend with them. I’m hoping I will be able to watch my grandson grow into the amazing young man that I know he’s going to be. I am hoping I’ll have new lungs to ensure I’ll be around.
