My name is Andrzej, and recently my life met an unexpected turn due to a liver transplant.

The procedure took place at Cleveland Clinic, Weston Florida. My health deterioration, surgery, and physical rehabilitation have been keeping me in different hospitals for six and a half months. The entire process is not finished yet and I still have a lot of healing to do. My financial savings have been completely used at this point. My family lives in Poland and is unable to help me. I’m reaching out to my friends and kind strangers who just happened to read this for help. At the present time, I am out of the hospital setting, staying in an extended-stay hotel until I am able to move to my own apartment. My team of my Physicians did not want me to go to any type of skilled rehabilitation facility, since the last time I went to that type of facility I could not communicate with the nursing staff due to a language barrier. As a result of that my medication dosage and time of administration of my anti-rejection meds were not as scheduled. In consequence, I developed Acute Transplant Rejection of my transplanted liver. That cost me additional hospitalization at Cleveland Clinic. After almost two weeks of hospitalization, RABBIT therapy (MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY DRIP), and Liver biopsies I went back to normal. I am asking for to help to be able to afford to stay in a safe environment until I will be able to return to an apartment hopefully soon.
