Family and friends of Angela Deeds are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund Angela’s uninsured medical expenses. Angela has been struggling with Gastroesophageal reflux disease for most of her adult life. Unfortunately, this condition has had a devastating impact on her teeth. That has been complicated and accelerated by her gastroparesis, a rare gastrointestinal disorder, which has manifested in her body in the past few years. All of her teeth have decayed and need to be removed and replaced with implants so that she is able to eat and maintain her nutrition. The removal and anesthesia are estimated at $30,000; the anesthesia and implants are estimated at $30,000. We are trying to raise some funds through friends and family to reduce the amount of medical debt we take on as a family. We are also fundraising for her ongoing medical costs that are not covered by insurance like travel to Charlotte to see her gastroenterology specialist.

Angela has been dealing with chronic pain and discomfort, which has affected her daily life in many ways. The state of her teeth leads to battles with infection on a regular basis. The financial burden of the required dental procedures is also significant.
