About Ansou

My name is Ansou Diallo. I’m a 40 year old husband, father, and human rights activist. Since 2022, I’ve been living with kidney disease, and in 2025, it progressed to end stage renal disease (ESRD). I began dialysis treatments in March 2025, and each session has become a vital part of my survival. Despite this challenge, I remain hopeful. I’ve always believed in resilience and the power of community, and now, I’m asking for that community to stand with me.

 Who I Am Beyond My Diagnosis

 Outside of my health struggles, I’m a man who loves to travel with my family, spend time with friends, and advocate for human rights. I’m open minded, caring, and deeply grounded. My family and friends describe me as someone who lifts others up, even on my hardest days. What hurts most is not being able to spend enough time with my wife and kids. Dialysis often leaves me exhausted, unable to enjoy the little moments that mean so much. I also miss traveling and creating new memories with them.

 My Current Challenge

 Because of my condition, it’s been difficult to work consistently. I’m trying to provide for my family, but between medical costs not covered by insurance and lost income, the financial strain is overwhelming.

 While I face a lifetime of medical expenses related to my transplant, my short-term goal is $10000 to help cover:
