Join Antwaun In The Fight For Life!

Thirteen years ago, at the age of 29 rather than enjoying a night out with his wife, Antwaun was taken to the Valleywise Health Medical Center (formerly know as, Maricopa County) Emergency room in Phoenix, AZ. This hospital trip changed our lives, Antwaun was diagnosed with heart failure. While our family has enjoyed many wonderful years since his initial diagnosis, Antwaun’s condition has become critical, his heart function is down to 10% and he will need a heart transplant to survive. Antwaun has not been able to work since February of 2023 and expenses continue to increase.

Antwaun has lived a happy, productive life even with heart failure. Antwaun is a wonderful husband and an amazing, attentive, loving father of 3 daughters. You will rarely see him without a smile on his face and a story to tell. Antwaun has always loved encouraging others to enjoy life, he’s a witness that life can change at any moment.

Our family has partnered with the nonprofit Hope Help Live and we are asking family and friends to join us in a fundraising effort to help with critical expenses. Although Antwaun has health insurance there are many expenses not covered, including anti-rejection medications that he will need to take for the rest of his life.
