Hi, my name is Ashley McCall. For the past several years I have been struggling with end stage renal disease. ESRD is the last stage of chronic kidney disease. It means that my kidneys have stopped working well enough for me to survive without dialysis or a kidney transplant.

Currently, I endure dialysis 4+ hours a day at a minimum of 3 days a week. I have also been added to the kidney transplant waiting list. The average wait time is 5-7 years. I would have to travel to my transplant center located at GA/SC 3 times a week to undergo many tests for a new kidney.
