Hi, my name is Autumn and I’m reaching out with a heartfelt plea for help.

I’m a wife and a proud mom to four amazing kids-two biological and two bonus children-with my

incredible husband. As a family, we love hiking, being outdoors, and spending time on the water

whenever my health allows. But right now, my body is struggling, and I need help to survive.

This is very hard for me to write. Asking for help is not easy-I’m usually the one trying to be strong

and handle things on my own. But right now, I can’t do this without the support of others.

I had my first kidney transplant in 1999 I was only 4 years old, which gave me 18 ½ beautiful years of life and memories.

Sadly, that kidney failed-through no fault of my own-and for the past eight years, I’ve been on

dialysis three times a week, four hours each session. It’s draining physically, emotionally, and

mentally, but I keep going for my family.

Now, I have the chance for a second kidney transplant at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in California,

a top center with the specialized care I need. But I’ve hit a major roadblock: my insurance won’t

cover the cost of travel, hotel, or living expenses during the required 9-week stay in California. I’ll be

going with my dad, who will help care for me after surgery-but we can’t afford this on our own.

This is urgent. My health is fragile, and the longer I stay on dialysis, the more complicated things

get. I’m doing everything in my power to hold on and keep moving forward, but I need your help now

more than ever.
