Beau is courageously battling KAND (KIF1A Associated Neurological Disorder) a rare and progressive neurological disease that affects brain health, movement, speech, coordination, and development. Beau now has the opportunity to receive a trailblazing, personalized therapy called ASO (antisense oligonucleotide) treatment. This therapy is tailored specifically to his DNA and designed to target the genetic cause of his disease. This promising science could halt or even reverse the progression of KAND. What We’re Raising Funds For:

Custom ASO Therapy Development – The most urgent and expensive step. It requires the creation of a stem cell line through an out-of-state lab. These stem cells will be grown into brain cells and used to ensure Beau’s therapy is safe and non-toxic to his system.

Out-of-Network Therapies – Physical, occupational, and speech therapies that are vital for Beau’s progress but often not covered by insurance.

Medical and Adaptive Equipment – Tools and devices that support Beau’s independence and quality of life at home and in the community.

Specialist Travel & Testing – Ongoing travel to clinics and research centers across the country for evaluations, lab work, and expert care.
