Ben Creamer needs a lung transplant and needs your help!

My husband, Ben, was born with four major heart defects which in turn destroyed his lungs causing him to have a heart/double lung transplant in 1994 at the age of 18. Later, he also received a kidney transplant in 2004. His health was good and he was able to work at several different jobs and especially enjoyed working with computers. Ben and I got married in 2005 and he is now a father to four kids under the age of seven. Ben’s family means everything to him and his greatest wish is to get healthy to watch our children grow up.

In July 2013, Ben’s lungs started deteriorating and now he is dependent on oxygen 24/7. His doctors informed us that he needs a lung re-transplant. Since this transplant is more complicated because of previous transplants he has to move out of state to have the surgery.

Transplants are life-saving but very expensive. Insurance will cover some but not all of the hospital costs and won’t cover any of the moving expenses. This is why we are turning to you, our friends and family, for help.
