Our friend Bill desperately needs your help.

Bill’s long battle with lung disease has come to a critical point. Our friend needs a double lung transplant to survive. We’re asking family and friends to join us in fundraising through the non-profit HELP HOPE LIVE to help with critical expenses Bill will face immediately after surgery, including the cost of lodging near the transplant center where he is required to stay for a minimum of 30 days following his discharge.

Bill has helped many hundreds of people struggling with Mental Health and Substance Abuse issues for over thirty years, as a professional and as a volunteer, and touched so many more in a positive way. He has fought the battle with courage and dignity but now has only 14 % lung function and needs our help.

While Bill has medical insurance, many transplant costs are not covered, such as the monthly anti-rejection medicines he needs to maintain his new lungs. Bill has been told to anticipate upwards of $5,000 per month just for medications alone.

Donations made through HELP HOPE LIVE can help ease the financial burden of a transplant and allow Bill to focus on a healthy and long life ahead with his family and friends, and continue his passion to help others.
