Dear Friends and Family,

Many of you already know that my husband Bill has been battling kidney disease for a few years now. He has been on dialysis 3 times a week, almost 4 hours a day for the past year. Without these dialysis treatments to keep him alive, he would not be here.

The wait list for a kidney is long and we pray that someone will step forward to give Bill the gift of life, a kidney.

Unfortunately, Medicare does not pay all of the hospital or other medical expenses Bill is facing. Co-pays, anti-rejection medications, long-term hospital stays and travel expenses are all adding up.

To help with this financial burden, a fundraising campaign in Bill’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the New York Kidney Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only.
