Blake Needs a Transplant And Needs Your Help!

Blake Park was born and raised in Utah. Born three weeks premature, it was quickly apparent to doctors that Blake’s urinary tract and kidneys weren’t functioning properly, requiring complicated surgeries. After two years of being in and out of the hospital, Blake was soon on his way to becoming a romping, stomping young man.

Blake is now 30 years old and married to his high school sweetheart, Mary. Together they are raising two young children, ages six and one. He is a locally known handyman. Whenever family, friends, or neighbors need an extra hand they know they can call on Blake.

Unfortunately, Blake was recently diagnosed with renal failure with only 14% kidney function left. The doctors have said that he is in need of a transplant. Blake’s family will have many challenges (emotional, physical, and financial) to overcome. While we can’t take away the emotional or physical hurdles, we CAN help financially, to assist with the out-of-pocket medical costs.

To help with these expenses, Blake may apply to receive assistance from the HelpHOPELive Southwest Kidney Transplant Regional Restricted Fund. HelpHOPELive is a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for 30 years.
