Hello! My name is Bonnie Caler and I am in of a kidney transplant.
I am a 49 yr old mother and wife who has had diabetes since I was 13 yrs old and over the years it has damaged my kidneys to where I now have end stage renal failure.
I have had my testings done that are required of me , with my health insurance I have a an out of pocket responsibility that I am truly struggling with and when it comes time for the transplant I have a certain amount that will need to be paid out of pocket before the insurance will pick up at 100%
After transplant there is 1 certain medicine that I will need to be on for just a few months but my insurance does not cover it at all and I could have to pay up to
$900 a month for it
I do have a wonderful family and a great group of friends who are behind me to help me with my fundraising efforts . I would not normally do this but I could use all the help i can get so I can move forward with this transplant without the worry of how am I going to get the medication I need
