We are asking for support to help with medical expenses for Brad to get a double lung transplant, as well as travel expenses for testings and continued care leading up to and following the transplant.

Brad graduated from Smethport High School in 1982. He moved to Emporium and worked at Kwik Fill as manager for 30 years. He has 6 kids and 6 grandkids and he loves spending time with his family. He married Lisa in 2012 and together they enjoy going to camp and spending time in the cabin they built together, although difficult these days without electric to power his oxygen machine. At home they enjoyed tending to their large garden but this year they had to put the garden on hold due to Brads condition.

Brad’s health has been deteriorating since he got sick in 2022 with pulmonary fibrosis. It has progressed to a point that his blood oxygen levels are only 19% , thus the need for a double lung transplant. As we know with any medical procedure, they can be expensive so we are asking for help with the cost of medical expenses, transportation, lodging and food. Lisa will still be trying to work and taking care of Brad from Cleveland as they will have to stay for up to 8 weeks after the transplantation.
