Hello Family and friends it’s me Brenda Roberts. I have been diagnosed with End Stage Kidney Disease. I will need dialysis soon unless I receive a kidney transplant.
The wait time is 5 years and above. My family and I are reaching out to our community of family, loved ones and friends for a living donor.

Those who are interested are usually between the ages of 18 to 60, in good health, free from kidney issues, diabetes, cancer…as a donor, your medical expenses will be covered for 2 years.
If for some reason you are not a match and you still desire to donate, I automatically become eligible for the next kidney match.

Secondly, with the transplant I am required to pursue a medical fund raising effort. I am fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured expenses associated with transplantation. Theses funds will help pay for life-long daily medications needed to care for my new kidney in a needed and responsible way.

I have chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses to ensure the care of my new kidney.
