Brenda Santinelli

Dear Family and Friends,

Many of you know my loving wife, Brenda Santinelli. Brenda is the wonderful mother to our two children and fun grandmother of our four beautiful grandchildren. Brenda’s greatest joy is our close family.

Last year, Brenda was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). IPF is a debilitating disease that hardens the lungs. Her health Linda and Brenda has declined and she is on oxygen 24/7.

Brenda’s doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Florida have told us that her only option is a life-saving lung transplant. At the same time, Brenda’s identical twin sister Linda Foster received the same diagnosis. They are both actively listed on the lung transplant waiting list.

Not only is this transplant a major surgical procedure, it is also very expensive. Even with insurance there are many expenses that must be covered out of pocket. Some of these expenses are co-pays, deductibles and Linda will be on a life-time of expensive anti-rejection medications. This is where your help is needed.

A fundraising campaign in Linda’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Southeast Lung Transplant Fund, and are administered for transplant-related expenses only.
