Brian Hubbard
Arlington, TX
Family and friends of Brian Hubbard, we are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a Catastrophic Illness.
We have chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.
My father, Brian, is more than just my dad—he is my hero, my foundation, and my greatest friend. He has spent his entire life giving, sacrificing, and working tirelessly to build a future for our family. Now, he faces the toughest battle of his life: Colon Cancer, with the additional complications of two ostomies. And I can’t help him fight it alone.
Brian raised me as a single father, filling my childhood with unwavering love, laughter, and life lessons that shaped me into the person I am today. His world revolved around making sure I had every opportunity to thrive, even when it meant putting his own dreams aside. His kindness wasn’t just reserved for family—he built friendships around the world through his loyalty, hard work, and dedication to his career in the tire industry. Whether through a handshake in business or a heartfelt conversation with a stranger, my father has left an imprint on countless lives. He’s the kind of man who shows up for everyone, every time. Now, it’s my turn to show up for him.
Brian’s journey began in Germantown, where he grew up with his two brothers. Later in life, he attended Columbia State Community College, where he played baseball and even appeared in the NJCAA World Series. He then continued his baseball career, playing two seasons at the University of New Mexico. During college he fell in love with cars and ended up working on the Indy Car Circut while also finding his lifelong calling in the tire, rubber, wheel, and agricultural industry, where he worked retail, wholesale, and over the years, he built many meaningful and lasting relationships with domestic and international factories, completed numerous technical agreements. These relationships ultimately resulted in the building of the first automated tire foundry, an increase available UHP sizes and making an everlasting lasting impact on the industry and the people he has worked with.
Throughout his life, Brian’s devotion to his work, family, and friends has been unwavering. He has always been someone who does whatever it takes to provide for others. He’s never shied away from hard work, and his strong values have made him a friend and mentor to many. Always looking to ensure the best for the current generation and future generations to come!
But now, he’s facing his greatest challenge yet. His medical journey began in late January when he was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. He spent nearly two weeks in the hospital and then moved to a rehabilitation center for 30 days to regain his strength. After overcoming multiple medical hurdles, he began his chemotherapy treatment on March 31. His treatment plan includes 12 rounds of chemotherapy, each costing about $10,549.03, in addition to countless doctor visits, scans, tests, and medications.
To date, the financial burden has been overwhelming. Here’s a breakdown of the expected costs:
Chemotherapy treatments: Estimated $10,549 per round
Office visits (new doctor): $760 per visit
Follow-up visits (established patient): $567.50 each
Virtual visits: $269.25 each
Primary care visits: $50 each
CT scans: $750 at Envision, $4,675 at UT
Blood tests: Hundreds of dollars per visit
Other medical expenses: Including medications, scans, and treatments
The total cost of his treatment and care is estimated to exceed $140,000.
Brian’s dream is simple: to regain his health, return to the life he loves, and continue being there for his family. He’s excited about the possibility of returning to life as he remembers and getting the opportunity to spend his weekends fishing with family and friends, and cheering on his favorite baseball teams. Most importantly, he wants to continue being a father—the kind of dad who has always been there, not just for me, but for everyone who needed him.
But this journey is a fight—a fight against not only cancer, but the overwhelming financial burden that comes with it. Your support will give my father the chance to focus on what matters most: healing, spending quality time with family, and living the life he worked so hard to build.
I’m asking for your help—whether it’s through a donation, a share of this campaign, or simply offering kind words and support. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and bring my dad one step closer to the life he deserves. Let’s help Brian keep fighting.
Thank you for your generosity, kindness, and love. We are so grateful for your support.
