Brian Pearson

Brian Seldon Pearson is a 36-year-old husband, stepfather, son, brother and dear friend. Brian is in urgent need of a kidney transplant and needs the help of his friends and family to make it happen. Brian has suffered with Type 1 diabetes since diagnosis in his teens. The last 20 plus years of living with diabetes has deteriorated his kidneys ability to function. Brian has end stage Kidney Disease. His kidneys have failed and are only operating at 8%.

Brian is a Mesa, Arizona native. He attended Valley Christian High School before going on to graduate with honors at Arizona State University as an economics major. Even though Brian requires dialysis 8 hours per night, he continues his work as a team manager at Charles Schwab in Phoenix, Arizona. Brian married Denita Bendor in April of 2012. They are happily married and are involved in their church and community.

After extensive testing among friends and family members, amazingly, Brian’s wife Denita is a perfect donor match. This creates a unique situation in which both the transplant recipient and transplant donor will be recovering together under the same roof. Happily, Brian’s transplant surgery is scheduled February 22, 2017.
