Brian Sorrill

Brian is a 54 year old father of three daughters and grandfather of 7 from ages 1 year old -12 years old. He has worked in the construction industry his whole life. In 2022, he was diagnosed with COPD, which rapidly progressed over the next few years. Currently he is disabled, unable to do any work, and on high levels of oxygen 24/7.

He has been going to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis and his doctors have informed him that none of the treatments have worked and his last hope is a lung transplant. Due to the distance from St. Louis to our home, we are required to relocate to the St. Louis area for a minimum of 3 months after the transplant, unfortunately the relocation, housing, and other expenses are not covered by insurance. There are also a tremendous amount of medical expenses that will only be partially covered. One of the main ones is the cost of the drugs given to protect from rejection of the organ after surgery.
