Brian Whiseant

This fundraiser is to help the family of Brian Matthew Whiseant, son of Amanda and Chester Whiseant.

On October 22 of this year, Brian was driving home on a two lane road from visiting his grandparents in Marysville, Ca. He lost control in the rain, flipped his car, and landed in an orchard. Brian sat in that broken car with a broken neck for two hours before he was found. Thankfully, a passerby saw the broken and torn apart car, and found Brian inside. Brian is lucky to be alive. This proves that God has a plan for him. However, Brian at the age of 19 is now a quadriplegic which brings its own unique set of challenges.

This is where the Whiseants need your help.

The Whiseant family needs to convert their garage into a bedroom with a wheelchair accessible bathroom that will fit his tall frame of 6’6”.
Brian’s parents are full time caregivers of Brian, probably for yrs to come.

The Whiseants were able to buy a wheelchair accessible van that will fit Brian’s tall body. This van was needed to drive Brian to his outpatient rehab appointments, doctor appointments, and help get out of the house and be part of society. This was possible because of donations by you. We thank you.

Brian was born in Yuba City, Ca. to Chester and Amanda Whiseant. He grew up in the Yuba-Sutter area till about 11 yrs old. His family moved to the Citrus Heights/Orangevale area and became part of that community. When he was younger, Brian was involved in baseball, Civil Air Patrol, youth mission trips, and working in the nursery at his church of Sun River Church.

Brian is one of four children of Chester and Amanda.
His siblings are Madalynn- 21 yrs old, Elizabeth (Ellie), 13 yrs old, and Nathanael, proudly almost 11 yrs old. His family is active in their church. First Baptist of Fair Oaks, volunteering where they can. They are also active in the homeschool community, Relay for Life, and the local Orangevale Soccer community.

When the accident happened, Brian was living as an independent adult working in solar sales and paying his own bills. He always loved being outdoors and working with his hands. Brian loved drawing, playing guitar, hiking, swimming, building guitars, driving around, and fixing cars. At one point, he was volunteering his time with youth with youth ministry. Brian was in the process of saving money to attend lineman school when this accident happened. This has been a life altering accident.
