My Husband, Bruce, Desperately Needs Your Help!

I am reaching out to all of our friends and family on behalf of my
husband, Bruce. As you may know, Bruce is only 52 years old, and is
suffering from end stage kidney failure (focal segmental
glomerulosclerosis with moderate interstitial fibrosis.) Bruce’s only
hope for survival is a kidney transplant. This involves not only a long,
excruciating wait on the donor list, but also a myriad of related
expenses.

Besides the cost of the operation itself, there are costs for various
co-pays, hospital incidentals, post-op care, medical equipment for the
home, and medicines. We will be responsible for travel and lodging
costs for the donor. Bruce will be required to spend at least 30 days in
temporary lodging, convenient to the hospital facility. Afterward, there
will be the cost of necessary home health care and even more
medications for the foreseeable future.

We cannot possibly cover all of these costs on our own. I am
asking, and Bruce is asking, that you help him by making a donation
through Help Hope Live. Every dollar donated will go directly to an
account for Bruce and will be used to offset the enormous financial
burden we are facing.

This is a lifelong journey, but knowing we will not have to face it
alone is a great comfort. So please, donate what you can, and please
share this request with anyone you feel would be willing to help us.
