Callie Jenna Aceto

On September 26, Callie was walking home after working her afternoon shift at the Flynn Theatre in downtown Burlington when a speeding car jumped onto the sidewalk striking Callie from behind. The accident caused permanent spinal cord damage – she will never walk again.

A 2023 University of Wisconsin – Whitewater Cum Laude graduate, Callie is employed with the Vermont Lake Monsters baseball team and The Flynn Theatre. She is very excited to continue her career in the sports industry – we can all join together to give her the future she deserves.

Callie has various hobbies including hiking, baking, cheering on the Boston Bruins & Chicago Blackhawks, watching women’s soccer and attending concerts, just to name a few. Of course, Callie’s blood runs green and gold – GO PACK GO – she never misses watching a game and ‘gearing up’ on game days. She recently looked forward to attending a women’s National Team soccer game in Connecticut, hoping to catch it next year instead. She enjoys traveling as well – having already stamped her passport to Iceland and Bermuda, as well as Canada, determined to fill her passport book with even more country stamps. Ireland was next – unfortunately now delayed.

Everyone who knows Callie describes her as kind, thoughtful, and deeply loving – a truly special woman with the brightest of smiles. Her future now requires lifelong rehabilitation, specialized equipment, and significant medical care. We invite you – family, friends, and all who can – to come together in support.
