For the past twelve years, Candle Jessop has been battling Chronic Kidney Disease which has recently reached a critical point, rendering her in need of a Kidney Transplant. Although Candle works fulltime and has Healthcare Insurance, the deductible alone is still thousands of dollars and there are many additional financial expenses the insurance does not cover which will be challenging to meet, including expensive medications, transportation costs, copays, and potentially post-surgery housing, etc.

Family and friends of Candle are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to ease the financial burden of a transplant, and allow Candle to focus on a healthy and stress-free recovery. Her desire is to return to work as soon as possible after surgery and be able to continue fulfilling her responsibilities as a mother and provider for her son Joshua.
