Dear Friends, Family and Community,

On Feb. 27, 2012, Amy Clabaugh suffered a severe traumatic brain injury when she fell from a ladder, hitting her head on a concrete floor. Amy has been receiving intense therapies since that time.

Amy is determined to meet her goals of being able to walk without assistance, write clearly and speak fluently. Even with insurance she has to pay for much of her therapy out of pocket due to the limited number of “visits” Medicare allows for in a year. Her physical therapist is very pleased with the progress she is making and has even stated “this isn’t the time to stop.”

To help with the financial burden of Amy’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in her honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the South-Central Catastrophic Injury Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for injury-related expenses only.
