Family and Friends: I need your help.

As most of you know, I am on a liver transplant list due to non-alcoholic cirrhosis. Even though I have insurance that covers most of the pre-transplant expenses, there are many expenses after transplant that are not covered by insurance. These include the cost of lodging near the hospital where I will be required to stay for a minimum of 30 days after transplant.

We are asking for your help in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live. It will help with critical expenses immediately after surgery, including the lodging for 30 day and the anti-rejection medications which I will need to take for the life of my new liver. These medications could cost as much as $5,000 a month.
